'As we grow' WIP children's story.

This ties in with my childcare course. We were asked to show the key stages of development between birth and 19 years, so I decided to turn it into a children's book! The story follows a unicorn toy given to a little girl on the day of her birth, as the child grows up the toy tells us of all the things they do together relating to her development, from her first steps to leaving for University.

I would appreciate it heaps if you could let me know which cover you prefer, or to tell me what I can do to improve it. I want it to stay relatively simple given the book's target audience. Thank you!
