yes, i think trying some story telling devices would be great. Maybe try drawing something just before a big event happens, or something after a big event happens. Its alot more interesting than seeing something actually happening as it makes you question what may of happen and map out what you think may of happened. for best example in fallout 3, theres skeletons and random items placed around.
