All posts unrelated to my art have been moved here.
I want to keep both of these blogs solely for their intended purposes, so you will get nothing but drawings here and on my personal blog will be anything relating to the topics brought up in the first post.
Feel free to follow it, however if you are only interested in my art I advise keeping to this blog alone! I'd also like to use this post to tell you that my e-mail address is now laurajaneart@gmail.com, so please use that one if you have any questions or requests.
Thank you! :)
This is a work in progress sketch I did to go towards my art-trade with Malin. The final image will be done on a sheet of quality paper/card and will be 3.5 x 2.5 inches in size. It's 100% traditionally drawn and made to look professional.
I thought I'd share this drawing, which originally was supposed to be a thumbnail but I get carried away with images I like! So I'll send this to her when it's painted, too.
Nix is a radioactive alien from my old foundation course storybook. I'd share it here, but it's HUGE and won't fit in my scanner! Coloured version later! Done. :D
Quick 30min sketch of Butch from Fallout 3. Working on drawing people is my next aim, especially their faces.
Haven't been feeling myself this weekend thanks to being ill (yay food poisoning!), so I've had more time to play Fallout draw stuff. This is Kindle, my dragon character from the kid's book I illustrated back in Uni, looking more rugged than usual.
More art soon.
I LOVE this character! He is from New Vegas' DLC 'Old World Blues'. When you arrive at Big Mountain, you search for holotapes to activate synthetic personalities. The DLC is homage to the old B-movies of the 50's and these characters are hilarious.
His name is Muggy. A scientist programmed this small robot to be obsessed with mugs/coffee cups and be fully aware of his obsession and how crazy it makes him. XD
